The bundled project activity uses renewable wind power to generate electrical energy in India.
The capacity of the project is 8 MW which includes a 5.6 MW (7 Nos. x 800 kW) located in the state of Karnataka and 2.4 MW (3 Nos. x 800 kW) located in the state of Rajasthan.
This is a bundled project activity bringing together ten wind turbine generators at sub-bundle –I and sub-bundle-II to form a single VER project activity where the distinctive characteristics of each project activity have been retained.
The main purpose of the project activity is to generate electrical energy through sustainable means using wind power resources, to utilize the generated output for selling it to the respective state electricity grid and to contribute to climate change mitigation efforts.
• To enhance the propagation of commercialisation of wind turbines in the region.
• To contribute to the sustainable development of the region, socially, environmentally and economically.
• To reduce the prevalent regulatory risks for this project through revenues from the VER project activity.
• Contributes to the economic sustainability around the plant site, which is the promotion of decentralization of economic power.
